ANIMATED SERIES TEACHING MANDARIN CHINESE FOR PRIMARY AGED CHILDREN
“Any business that needs a bespoke and considerate professional to add a creative and fun vision to a design project should consider working with Kino Bino.”
CLIENT
Dragons Teaching are the UK’s specialists in Mandarin Chinese teaching. Providing learners with expert teachers, leading textbooks, clubs, workshops and educational trips.
BRIEF
Dragons Teaching asked us to freshen up the character designs from their primary school textbooks and bring them to life in an animated Chinese language learning series for their online portal and YouTube channel.
RESULTS
Working closely with their producer, we redesigned their characters to give them an approachable new look for the animated educational series. The series is used in conjunction with their textbooks, in the classroom as part of lessons. The videos have been much loved by young learners and have given Dragons a fresh, modern style for their online presence.

THE PROCESS
We worked closely with Dragons Teaching, giving input on the script writing process and assisting with the storyboards. This was to ensure that the content covered all the learning objectives, and was still a fun and engaging animation.
“They understood our vision for the cartoon and translated this into engaging visuals and fun animation. We worked well together on planning the time frames for the project and they delivered on time according to our agreed budget. ”
